I was... read more worried about climbing through the hatch to enter but the clear cut instructions , safe steps and automatic lights made it easy....even with my overstuffed suitcase (okay, my husband helped with that.) We felt right at home, enjoyed sitting on deck in the lounge chairs, and slept very well in the comfortable bed...even the low ceiling over the head of the bed became more of a joke than a nuisance. Watching the neighborhood birds from water level was fascinating...the pair of grebes fishing, the coot mates building a nest on a nearby boat, and the ducks on our own green roof when we arrived. The bonus was the canal cruise boats passing by, just a few on the first two nights, but since we we checked out on King's Day, the party atmosphere the night before was lively and exciting.

  Great hosts, amenities and location! They were fantastic with communication and staying in the boat was such an awesome experience compared to the run-of-the-mill hotel or apartment.
